Amerivespa 2017: Day one

It’s time. Amerivespa 2017 kicked off Thursday in Seattle. Scooterists from all over the U.S. and Canada were greeted by sunny skies and warm temperatures, and had a choice of three scenic rides.

Two of the rides went well east of the starting point at the AV headquarters, Hotel Deca.

Riders could choose a trip Snohomish, Wash., a town in the Cascade foothills that bills itself as The Antique Capital of the World, or a ride to spectacular Snoqualmie Falls, which among other things is famous for appearing in the TV series Twin Peaks

As you can see below, Snoqualmie Falls is way outta town.

For those who wanted to stay closer to town, there was a ride through the more obscure parts of Seattle.

Day one ended with an evening meet ‘n greet at The Stables.

    Great meet up at the Stables on Thursday night. I met many new ScooterHeads and many others that I have met before. Friends all around*
