Junak Vintage scooter
Word comes of a new scooter for the U.K. market. One with a Polish connection.
In spite of its name, the Junak Vintage is, in fact, a thoroughly modern 50cc scooter, manufactured in China. Junak is the name of a range of motorcycles produced in Poland from 1956 to 1965. The word Junak means “brave young man” in Polish; Junaks were large, heavy bikes often referred to as Polish Harleys.
The Junak Vintage joins a rather crowded scooter market. “Classically inspired design combined with new technology (LED lights, electronic speedometer) offers unforgettable style and quality,” says a company spokeswoman. Junak offers a full line of scooters and motorbikes in Poland, which you can see by clicking here (in Polish).
