Piaggio’s star at EICMA is its retro-themed Quarantasei. Which is how you say “46” in Italian. This one’s just a concept, but Piaggio announced a veritable boatload of new bikes that will be going on sale soon (if they aren’t already), among which was the new Moto Guzzi V7 series.

The long-rumored 4-stroke PX was not one of them. Neither was a refreshed LX or GTS. We will, however, see a new Fly.

On intro it will be powered by the 4-valve 50cc EFI engine found in the Vespa S & LX; 125/150cc versions, also shared with Piaggio’s steel bikes, will come along a bit later.

The full list of intros can be found on Piaggio Group’s EICMA press release (which contains a bunch of very nice images); you can see it for yourself by clicking here. Favicon
