My new favorite look-on-the-sunny-side phrase is, when life hands you lemons, marinate some shrimp. Fresh-squeezed lemon juice, butter, some basil. Mmmm. I love shrimp.

Some days, everything just goes your way

May 1, 2009

There was a lady standing outside the Starbucks on Admiral Way. If I bring my receipt and answer a few questions, she says, she’ll give me two dollars. I’m going to Starbucks to get a Top Pot Chocolate Old Fashioned doughnut, which will cost $1.76 (including the 10% sales tax). How could I refuse?
