And we’re shoppin’!

The GTS at New Seasons Market“Is it electric, or is it a hybrid?” (Orin O’Neill photo)

Since I’ve been in Portland, I find something else I miss about Seattle is Bartell Drugs. Bartell’s was where I kept my prescriptions, and not only were they numerous in the Seattle area, they had lots of stuff I needed. And the one in lower Queen Anne (sorry, I won’t call it “Uptown”) was open 24/7.

The sun was shining through the branches in the bedroom. Where is that other shoe, I asked no one in particular.

Multnomah’s fall

The GTS at Vista House“Uh, sir, you have to park your moped next to the bike rack.” (Orin O’Neill photos)

The GTS in front of The Dalles Dam, in The Dalles, OregonThe GTS is enjoying the view of The Dalles Dam, on the Columbia River (Orin O’Neill photos)

Somewhere west of SpokaneSomewhere west of Spokane. No, I didn’t take I-90. (Orin O’Neill photo)

The morning TV newscasts forecast near-record high temperatures Sunday. Yes, everyone said, low 90s F is normal in August, but not mid-September. I decided to bungee the Corazzo jacket. The ride south and west would be relaxed.

Rob offered a couch for the night at his home in Tri-Cities, so I could take my time. Going back the way I came would be a treat. Until Ritzville, anyway.
