It was an odd e-mail from Safety Ed. Could I please find a used Vespa ET or LX for sale?
I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and feeling yesterday afternoon. The sun was out. It was so bright I had to wear sunglasses indoors. And it was so warm I didn’t need a jacket.
I’m a bit surprised to see this come up in the list of search engine terms, but let me try to help.
So far, I’ve only been asked once about the PX’s gas mileage. At that point, I didn’t have a good way of figuring that out.
Remember the TV show Frasier? Dr. Frasier Crane’s residence was on the Counterbalance, or so he told someone to whom he was giving directions in one episode.
As I was putting on my helmet and gloves outside Bartell Drugs, a fellow walks up and asks, “how old is it?” “October,” I reply.
Happily, the rain being predicted didn’t materialize. And I had a serious craving for a McDonald’s Sausage McGriddle with Egg. Time to ride!
Vespa Seattle, or more correctly Big People Scooters, came and picked up the PX today. Ironically, it shared a trailer with my old ET4. Now it’s a question of waiting to hear when it’s ready…
