Portland so far has been wanting in the fall colors department. Unseasonably warm weather has kept leaves still attached to the trees green, and the ones that did turn got blown off by the howling Gorge winds.
When it comes to fall colors, New England never disappoints, Our lucky friend Jeff Roddick just got back from that neighborhood. He drives a moving truck, so he gets to go all over North America. But he doesn’t carry 52-inch plasma TVs and waterbeds to exurban McMansions, oh no. He’s the guy you call when you want to transport art exhibits, or concept cars, or other way cool stuff.

Fall has landed with a thud in Portland. A week ago Tuesday it was a blazingly sunny 92°F. As I write this, it’s rainy and the temperature struggles to reach 60.
The weather’s much better in Hawai’i.
For better or worse, I take a ton of pictures everywhere I ride. Certainly, digital photography makes it very easy to take tons of pictures. So here’s what went on the SD card for Spokane Scoot.

The neighborhood where I’m living doesn’t seem to have a name. It also doesn’t have any stores or cafes, so for that kind of stuff I have to hop on the GTS and head 40 or so blocks west to the Hollywood District.

The new grab rail hasn’t arrived yet, so the GTS still rolls sans topcase. But I still needed to go to the grocery store.
