You’ve heard of Art Cars, right? This is an Art Scooter. (Orin O’Neill photos)
Had the final appointment concerning my right foot. It no longer looks like a chimichanga, something that pleases the docs to no end. The MRSA has been purged, too. I am, dare I say it, the picture of health. A bit of whimsy would be the perfect way to celebrate, thought the universe.

Nissan hopes people will think of the LEAF as simply a car (Nissan USA photos)
This electric car thing must be big. Or it’s going to be, anyway. Nissan plans to be the first mainstream carmaker to offer a plug-in battery electric car, the LEAF. The name is cute.

Instead of Priuses, Portland’s taxi fleet includes a bunch of Scion xBs (Orin O’Neill photo)
When I first saw the current Scion xB, I thought, “paint it yellow, put the ‘taxi’ thing on the roof, and you’d have the ultimate funky retro taxicab.”
Obviously, that thought had occurred to others.

That’s ice on the GTS’ windscreen. And the seat. (Orin O’Neill photos)
I’m thinking, try katu.com. KATU’s studios are closest to where I’m going. Current temp is… 30 degrees?!
