One of the items on my list of things to do before i die is attend Vespa Attack, the fourth renewal of which just wrapped. It’s the Philippines’ biggest scooter rally; John Rana’s Who Rides a Vespa? and Vespinoy! will have on-the-spot coverage. Scoot.net will probably have a photo gallery, too. Here are some pics from last year.

Thanks for posting this, Orin. I was in the Philippines a couple of years ago, and saw a lot of two-wheeled transports, mostly small motorcycles, and rode in what is called a “tricycle,” which is a two-person side car with canopy attached to what looked like a 125cc motorcycle. It’s amazing that despite the small size of bike, the driver could carry more than two people (I saw one with four, two in the side car and two others hanging on the outside), plus luggage!
It’s cool to see that there is a Vespa crowd in Manila.
