Attention, shoppers

It's on sale!

For many, the “riding season” is over. I stopped in at Renton Motorcycles the other day, and just about all of their inventory, including the Zuma 125 above, was marked down. In this case, $500. There are deals to be had all over, if you know where to look.

Now is a very good time to sign up for motorcycle safety class. And if you’re looking at 50cc scooters, Cycle World has a group review, though they leave out the Genuine Buddy, a bike that is worth a close look no matter what size scooter you’re looking for.

Of course, some places have snow on the ground. While I notice a lot of you get here by searching on “scooter snow tire,” I sometimes wonder if what you really need is one of these:

Nice post Orin, and good call on the MSF training course. I took the scooter-specific class, which was great. Considering the flooding we’ve been having in the Snoqualmie Valley, did Renton Motorcycles have scooter paddle wheels???

Great Post. We loved reading the reviews on the 50cc scooters. A wonderful article and reinforced our thoughts that the Vespa 150 was the best choice for us. We like to take of for hours and ride thru areas that we have not seen before. Also keeping up in traffic is esential. Thanks for pointing us in that direction.
