As a matter of fact, I do know the way

From Amerivespa ‘08 in Chattanooga, Tenn. comes word that the ‘09 edition will take place in San Jose, Calif. Dunno if there’s any conscious effort to alternate west/east of the Missisippi, but it does mean those of us on the left coast can contemplate riding down.

Amerivespa 2009 will coincide with the 20th anniversary of Vespa Club Los Gatos, which will host the event.

In the meantime, it’ll probably take ’til next year to look at all the pictures in Scoot.net’s Amerivespa gallery…

    If I didn’t hate that song growing up in San Jose, I will hate it after hearing it referenced a bajillion times in the next 9 months! (the song is really more about the suckiness of LA anyway.)

    I hope we can make it a Dionne Warwick/Burt Bacharach-free weekend!

    The thing is, S.J. looks lots more like L.A. than it did when the song first came out.

    That’s still a long way from SE Texas; but with family in SJ, hmmm…I just might make an effort to ride west on my new mp3 500.–Lorenzo

    Amerivespa 2009 will happen July 2-5, 2009, as reported by 2strokebuzz. The Amerivespa Web site will be updated eventually…
